Although Kevin and I have been engaged since September of 2008, due to timing, personal commitments, school, work, babies, etc...we never had an engagement party.  I had resigned myself to not having one as it was not something completely neccesary.  However, my friends and bride's attendants, with Kevin's help, decided to throw me a surprise engagement brunch to congratulate me on "getting the ring." I love my friends and family so much.  I had no idea they were planning this and it was a total shock and surprise.  Thanks Ladies!!!
