My Vintage Wedding

I am obsessed with flowers.  The images below will kind of give you an idea of what kind of flowers I would love to have for my wedding.  The collage is a mix of different flowers that I find beautiful that will hopefully inspire you as much as they inspire me.

Vintage Centerpieces

So, I love the idea of using flowers with jars, bottles and other vintage glassware for some of the centerpieces.

Most of the images are click-able so you can see the detail of the arrangements.  I love light, pale colors mixed in with bright purple or greens.  The centerpiece here is an example of the PERFECT arrangement!

My favorite spring flowers are anemones, hyacinths, peony, ranunculus and lilacs!

I would like a pale peach and green colored bouquet.  Kevin's bout will be in the same colors as my bouquet, while the GMs and BMs will have purple flowers.  All the family members and the flower girl will have peach colored flowers.

Oh So Smart...

We both are surrounded (um...mentally, physically and literally) by books.  Old books could be used to add some height to the smaller centerpieces.  We are going to alternate between tables with books, tall lanterns and low clusters of arrangements in ball jars.

Cake Love
I love flowers so much, I want a really large beautiful flower to be the focus of our wedding cake.  I love the simplicity (and hopefully the price) of having a very plain cake with a very large and gorgeous flower as the only decorative element.
